Do you have ideas or concerns about WorkSafeNB legislation? We want to hear from you! Your input helps shape the future of workplace safety in New Brunswick, and our board of directors values the perspectives of stakeholders like you.
How to Share Your Idea
You don’t need to submit a formal proposal anymore. Instead, here’s what you can do:
Submit your idea or concern: Reach out to us via consultation@ws-ts.nb.ca. You can also contact us through TalkSafetyNB or any of our other engagement channels.
Tell us your thoughts: Describe the issue and why you think it needs attention. Whether you're an individual or represent an organization, your voice matters.
What Happens Next?
Once we receive your idea, we’ll:
Review it: We'll assess if it aligns with our strategic priorities and if it addresses pressing issues for both workers and employers.
Consult with stakeholders: To gather a wide range of input, we may reach out to you and others through surveys, discussions, and technical committees.
Analyze and decide: After considering all feedback, the board will decide whether to move forward with the idea. It may lead to changes in practice, policy, or even legislative amendments.
How Long Does It Take?
The process can take time, depending on the complexity of the issue. Some proposals move quickly, while others require more extensive research and stakeholder consultation. We’ll keep you updated on the status of your idea as it progresses.
